2019 Cost of Living Adjustments

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has released the 2019 cost of living adjustments for qualified retirement plan limits, most of which have increased from 2018.

JD Supra notes that the limits listed in the provided table are plan year limits, except for the Code Section 401(k) and Code Section 403(b) elective deferral limit, which is a calendar year limit.

2019 Employee Benefit Plan Limit Adjustments

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has released the 2019 adjustments for employee benefit plan limits.

Most limits have increased, including the highly compensated employee (HCE) limit, which has not been increased since 2015.
