Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces Executive Order “Disapproved” by U.S. Senate

The previously approved Executive Order 13673: Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces (commonly referred to as the “blacklisting” order) has been “disapproved” following a joint resolution passed by both the Senate and the House. This executive order required government contractors to report violations of 12 labor laws before entering into contracts with federal agencies in order to ensure that agencies only partner with “responsible” contractors.
