The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has extended the deadline to submit EEO-1 reports from March 31st to May 31st.
JD Supra explains that:
“The delay was caused by the recently resolved partial lapse in federal appropriations, which, of course, led to the longest government shutdown in our nation’s history.”
Employers with 100 or more employees and federal contractors with 50 or more employees are required to submit EEO-1 reports, which include information on employee counts and demographics, such as gender, ethnicity, and job category.
