Employers have a responsibility to maintain a certain decorum and level of behavior in their workplace. To that end, it is more than appropriate to meet with these individuals, one-on-one at first and then, if needed, jointly, to discuss what would be considered appropriate behavior while at work. Leave the editorial comments and opinions aside, focusing on the fact that their behavior is not meeting professional standards. Lastly, pay close attention to workplace harassment guidelines so as to avoid any chance of their relationship evolving into a situation whereby others could make any case for a Harassing Work Environment.
