Connecticut: New Protections for Pregnant Employees

Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy has signed “An Act Concerning Pregnant Women in the Workplace”, which both alters existing protections and adds new ones to the existing pregnancy protection law. Employers will be required to provide employees with a written notice of their rights under the act, and a poster must be displayed in the workplace as of October 1, 2017.
