Kristen Valente is an HR Specialist for OperationsInc, bringing over 10 years of diverse Human Resources experience to the team.
Kristen’s areas of expertise include providing HR support in union environments, new hire onboarding, performance management, onboarding, organizational development, employee relations, and HR administration.
Kristen began her career supporting Eastern Paralyzed Veteran’s Association as a NYC Regional Advocate. She eventually joined Alitalia Airlines as a Human Resources Representative, where she developed and updated company policies, employee orientation programs, and employee training programs.
Kristen then served as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Morgan Stanley, acting as a consultant to management to resolve complex employee relations issues while also managing performance management processes, talent management, and compensation strategy.
Thereafter, Kristen moved to Smiths Detection, where she spent four years managing HR functions including organizational development, staffing, training, benefits administration, performance management, and employee relations in a union environment.
Kristen earned a B.A. in Psychology from Providence College and holds a certification in Human Resources Management from New York University.
In addition to her work at OperationsInc, Kristen chairs several committees for Bedford Central School District, such as the Elementary School Bike Run, bookfairs, fundraising and the Middle School Parent Association. An avid sportswoman, Kristen played softball in high school and college and continues her love for the sport as an assistant coach for a local youth softball recreation league.
