HR Generalist

Allison Sherman serves as an HR Generalist for OperationsInc, bringing over 10 years of diverse HR and compliance related experience to the team. Allison provides clients with high-level HR related support, in both short and long-term situations.

Allison began her career as a litigation paralegal for a prominent law firm in New York City. There, she supported attorneys through various phases of litigation, including document collection, depositions, and trials.

She then moved to Ambrose Employer Group, a major player in the PEO space which has since been acquired by TriNet. There, Allison served as an HR Associate, providing a wide range of outsourced HR support to a diverse set of over 60 client organizations. During this time, Allison began to cement her status as a subject matter expert in the area of PEO transitions.

From there, Allison moved on to join Apax Partners, LP, a global private equity firm with operations in seven countries. As an HR Senior Associate, she managed the recruiting function for operational staff and investment hires, and coordinated the firm’s annual associate recruiting process, which included screening and interviewing 100+ candidates to fill four open positions.

During Allison’s tenure at Apax, she also oversaw the firm’s semi-annual performance review process, resolved employee relations issues, provided compensation strategy recommendations, managed the group’s payroll, executed new hire onboarding, and oversaw the firm’s benefits design and administration.

In her current role at OperationsInc, Allison provides a wide range of HR related support while serving as a benefits expert supporting clients in the financial services, legal services, pharmaceutical, and private equity space.

Allison earned a B.S. in Psychology from Trinity College. She resides in Fairfield, CT with her husband and two young daughters.
