Consulting Firms Announce Results
of Recent HR Based Technology Survey
Stamford, CT. [October 10,
2007] ] It is with great excitement that human resources
consulting firm, OperationsInc (OI) and management consulting
firm, Performance-Solutions-Group, Inc. (PSG), announce the
results of their HR Based Technology Survey --- the second in a
series of HR-centric surveys relating to today’s workforce. 60
organizations in the Fairfield / NY Metro Area participated in
the survey which focused on HR-Related Technology in the
workplace.
The key findings from our survey:

76% of those surveyed
use a formal Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to
track employee related data.

The HRIS in use by
survey participants comes in the form of specialized
software they have purchased OR technology provided via
their outsourced Payroll carrier.

To this end results also
demonstrated that 60% of companies surveyed outsource the
handling of their payroll.

While there clearly is a
growing prevalence of technology within HR, the world of
benefits processing still lags with close to 60% surveyed
still using paper to process benefits enrollments.

to be a bit behind the times when it came to the infusion of
technology, the results today clearly show they are

employee data demonstrates a calculated push by the industry to
be more of a
participant in the entire HR administration machine", said David

one of the few remaining
