Part Time Recruiter

We're OperationsInc, a Human Resources Outsourcing and Consulting firm based in Stamford. Since early 2001 we've been supporting businesses by handling HR project work, as well as taking over the entire HR function on an outsourced basis. We have a base of over 500 clients and growing, supported by over 30 experienced HR professionals.  Due to the acquisition of new clientele, we need to add a Part Time HR Recruiter to our team ASAP. We are seeking a Part Time Recruiter to assist with client recruiting located in the New Haven area.  The brief details / responsibilities:

  • Build a candidate pool to support over a dozen open positions and growing
  • Roles are entry level, mostly unskilled and labor intensive / on three shifts for a 24/7 operations
  • Build relationships with local sources for talent
  • Assist in developing tracking mechanism for candidates for present and future use
  • Conduct interviews / screening calls / post interview pre-hire checks, etc.

This position will REQUIRE up to 25 hours per week preferably with a 4 or 5 day work week, depending on client needs.

The ideal candidate MUST possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Recruiter, with full life cycle of recruiting a current / recent proven track record in the area of entry level / labor level Recruiting. The ability to operate effectively and efficiently on an independent level, sourcing candidates successfully along the way, is also essential. You must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, a strong business sense, and some prior experience developing a candidate pool from scratch, as well as tracking the flow. Solid PC skills, with a focus on MS Office and the Internet are also required. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a HUGE plus.
