One of the most misunderstood and incredibly difficult to define laws in place for employers is the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), which legally mandates us to perform certain tasks including paying certain employees overtime when they work over 40 hours a week (and in some cases OT when more than 8 hours is worked in a day).
