Management Interaction

Straight from the mouth of Mr. HR’s readers

How much do you presently interact with senior management in your present (last) position?

In many larger entities staff level resources are insolated and even protected from exposure to senior management. That may be a function of the politics of the firm. It could be that staff are not groomed or trusted to handle that level of interaction. Regardless of the reasons you need to understand what the candidate is used to vs. what your environment offers. Someone used to high level exposure may feel stifled by the insulation. Someone used to the protection may freeze if thrown into a high exposure role.
