Great section…but is it accurate? Usually we see this section as possessing tremendous detail, and yet each year we all tweak our plans and forget to issue a new page for the handbook to cover the changes. To save yourself the grief, simply state you offer benefits, perhaps reference medical, dental, life, etc., and then state that the company annually distributes Summary Plan Descriptions to all employees, which are also available upon request from your HR rep.
