The EEO-1 Joint Reporting Committee has released clarification pertaining to the recent announcement of the EEO-1 pay data requirement being put on hold. The committee has clarified that the deadline to file EEO-1 reports is March 31, 2018, and that the reports “must be based on a payroll period in October, November, or December 2017”. According to the Committee, those filing EEO-1 reports may use the same form as 2016.
According to The National Law Review, the EEOC “has not yet fully updated its website (FAQs, Fact Sheet, etc.) to reflect this new information, although this clarification has been included on the homepage”.
