EEOC Releases Guidance on Mental Health Conditions

bigstock-155154497This week, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission released guidance outlining workplace rights for individuals with mental health conditions, including a description of protections from workplace harassment and employment discrimination. The document outlines how individuals with conditions noted under the Americans with Disabilities Act can get an accommodation, as well as explains the types of accommodations available to them. Employers should familiarize themselves with the document to ensure compliance.
