Three new laws have gone into effect in Connecticut related to protections for pregnant workers and job applicants, notice of workers’ compensation claims, and coverage for professional drivers under the state’s unemployment law. Employers should review these new laws, which went into effect on October 1st, to see if any updates to current policies and procedures are necessary.
