OI VS. PEOs and Employment Agencies

What sets us apart? OperationsInc provides many of the same services as a PEO and even an Employment Agency, but with far more favorable terms, costs, and options for the client. Allow us to outline some of the main differences:

Operations Inc PEO Employment Agency
Cost For Services OperationsInc delivers its services on an hourly basis, offering a “pay-for-use” approach, as well as a per employee per month basis, both proving economical and well within reach for businesses of all sizes with varying timelines. PEOs charge either a percentage of payroll or a fixed rate per employee per month for all their services, a fee you pay covering all services they anticipate you using, regardless of what your firm actually uses. Charges a fixed percentage of annual earnings as a fee, typically 25%+/-.
Service Format and Customization OI works with each client to develop solutions that meet your specific needs and fit. PEOs deliver a one-size-fits-all approach for most services provided. Agencies only provide support for recruiting and do not support other HR needs.
Recruiting Support OI provides customized recruiting to meet the client’s needs. This includes:

  • Job Description Development
  • Posting of the opening on search sites, many times for NO INCREMENTAL COST
  • Screening of candidates
  • Background and Reference Checking
  • Compensation Benchmarking

All of the above is tied into one simple hourly rate.

PEOs deliver minimal or no support for recruiting. Services are provided many times on a minimum flat fee basis. Conducts searches using the same methodology in many cases, but for a much higher price. Charges a fixed percentage of annual earnings as a fee, typically 25%+/-.
